If you want to go beyond movie and a beer, consider putting together a beer and food pairing (see here and here) or a beer and cheese pairing or if you want to really wow your friends, how about a beer and chocolate pairing?
You can also ask people to wear T-shirts or hats from their favorite brewery. Or even better, bring a bottle or six.
