Echoing the film’s “David and Goliath” struggle, finding distribution for Beer Wars has been quite a process. And what exactly is behind this struggle – the power of corporate America! The world premiere event on April 16th of Beer Wars LIVE is aiming to start a conversation about the beer industry and the future of American business – but we need your help! There are no multi-million dollar ad campaigns supporting this one night event. The success of this event depends on support and engagement on a grassroots level. You can make this event a success and bring the issues at hand to light in your community. We’ve created this “Event in a Bottle” to help you put together a successful outing to your local theatre for this event!

Organize Online

Organize a group outing to your closest movie theater by posting to Facebook, Meetup or another online tool. Some examples of what people have done:

Organize In Your Community

  • Collaborate with a local brewpub or beer bar to help promote the event and hold a follow-up gathering to discuss the issues raised in the film. Encourage your host to offer a discount to your group before/after the theatre event by showing your ticket stub.
  • Download/print flyers and posters and provide to local breweries, retailers, community centers, etc.

Spread the Word

  • Post the Beer Wars LIVE event trailer, banner ads, badges on your Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social media pages.
  • If you’re on Twitter, use #BeerWars to Tweet about the event and where you’re going to watch.
