Add to the list above what’s listed on the A.B. website it makes for a pretty comprehensive covering of the standard drinks found in US bars. At least add the modelo beers too (corona, modelo and pacifico)

Her’s the thing people. As much as I like a good craft brew or a quality import, I also REALLY like affordability. So, I drink Budweiser products with pride and treat myself to an Affligem or a La Fin du Monde or a Sam Smith now and then. Some of you people need to get off yer damn high horse.

Really enjoyed the movie (off Netflix last night). The craft industry is gaining speed here in New Orleans. We recently got Stone Brewery to move in. Nola Brewery has started up with some good stuff, especially the cask conditioned batches. I wish I didn’t have to go so far to drink my favorite, Smuttynose IPA, though. New Hampshire is a long way off.

Just watched your movie on Netflix Watch Instantly. Excellent movie, I especially liked to material on the distribution chain and their strong commitment to lobbying (keeping them that way), creating steep barriers to entry for smaller brands and store shelf space. I also liked the “non scientific” taste tests – it showed how thin the loyalty was to the actual beer, vs the brands.

I will be avoiding any of the brands on this list from now on. Though like a previous commenter I am fond of Boddington’s.

Just watched the film last night on Comcast. It was entertaining and a real education. Major props to Sam Calagione, Greg Koch and others like them who do it for the love of the craft and passion for the centuries old tradition of brewing. May their tribe increase!

Too much is being made out of some “movement” or whatever. Peoples’ tastes are changing back to dark yellow and brown ales instead of light, watery lagers. Ales were the thing back when dinosaurs walked the Earth and I was a pup. The whole lager thing was fairly recent.
